This concise guide offers step-by-step instructions to help you successfully prune roses in Toowoomba, ensuring vibrant and beautiful blooms. Before You Begin: 1. Timing: Prune roses in late June to early August when they are dormant. 2. Tools: Gather sharp pruning shears, loppers, gloves, and disinfectant. Pruning Techniques: 1. Prepare: Wear gloves and disinfect tools to protect yourself and prevent disease spread. 2. Remove Dead and Diseased Wood: - Cut out dead, damaged, or diseased wood, leaving healthy buds or the base of the plant. - Discard removed wood to avoid spreading diseases. 3.
